TIPS TO ENHANCE YOUR BROADBAND CONNECTION

Some of you might know how I've been struggling with my poor broadband lately, and ends tag-team with my mother watching Indonesian drama against my father's favorite show. -_-" Sorry Abah~ click to this entry, you'll know :P

First; why broadband? Not a fixed line internet service? Well, i kind to like the idea of bring it everywhere, just in case if i go somewhere, there's no WiFi there. Its give me freedom~ Ouh yeah! And actually, i love the feeling when just me myself have the 'privilege of a good surfing' *that not so good actually with the low bar of service in certain places* but never mind :P i just prefer broadband and want to stay loyal to the broadband service i chose. :))

OKAY, CUT TO THE CRAP SISTA. -_-" *long sigh*

THE REAL REASON IS, I HAVE A YEAR OF CONTRACT USING THIS BROADBAND, AND I NEED TO BE PATIENT, WAITING FOR ABOUT ANOTHER 5 MONTHS UNTIL THE CONTRACT END. Now you know that how in pain i am now. blergh~~ x_x"

So i came up with a few fantastic ideas and use it as tips of my own that i think may help me survive for another 5 months more. =_=

These tips are suggestively effective (23% accurate) to support the better reception for any location available. :B The connection is so slow in Shah Alam that when I try to load a webpage; i can go cooked Maggi mee and finish ate it, and get back to the computer and it is still not yet fully loaded. Sometimes, I could watch a 2 hours movies on HBO while my fingers keep on tapping the "F5" button to refresh, and the web page still appear "page cannot display" in the end. T_T tsk tsk.

I tried to contact the customer service, S E V E R A L time.

You see the only thing that the people there ever tell me is;
"We are under a stage of upgrading the service for a better connection in the future"
Can you believe that??? Adoi~ I'm using it for 7 months already laa... T_T tsk.

Okay, lets not waste time! Here is the tips!

i don't know whether its relevant, but we all got to do what we got to do right??

• You can try put the broadband into an extension USB wire =_=" so you can 'extend' the wire a bit longer to.. err.. to the place that you think would.. err.. have the better coverage maybe?

• Next, you can try to put it outside the window near your PC/laptop station like this. But be careful, someone like your little sister or brother would accidentally unplug it (or in jealousy cases which is on purpose :B) and it would come to "no device attach" problem otherwise. hehehe. Okay okay, not funny =_="
  

And yea, don't forget to put it inside back when it's raining or anything cause your broadband modem might be cold outside alone. Pity him too sometimes okay. ^^,

• Try to use your mobile phone (sms, mms, wap service, 3g, bla bla) next to broadband modem to attracting the line coming. :B You can turn on your low-grade speaker to detect the sounds of the waves~~~~

• Try to put it next to your ASTRO-dish and see maybe it works; improve a bar or two of the connection shows?? Well, its sounds stupid, but the rational is, when the ASTRO-dish are next to the broadband.. em.. err...its kinda complicated to explain actually. Ouh, just say you're with me, aite? :P

• And maybe you could buy a new extra 'dish' for the broadband itself for full support?

*You can use your cookware too, like suggested
above ^^, but of course for this
application, not the WiFi adapter*

• Next, built your own parabola in front of your house to attract the connectivity or any service available. Do invite your whole family to work together as you can enjoy the quality time together :P. *but maybe you might work by yourself if you dealing with a mother like mine, especially on this 'brilliant' idea :P LOL.*

Ouh well, i think this may work.

Haih~ I did all of this, and I still spent about 1 hour typing this entry in a draft, a slightly half an hour to publish it, and another 1 hour more to uploading the 6 damn picture?!!! (its actually 15, but the connection were sooooo slow that i don't have the patients anymore to wait for the rest of the pictures~)

It was such a tragic, dramatic story really.......... T_T *crying*.
